WHEN DOES THE CONTEST CLOSE?
The deadline for entries is extended until MAY 5^th  2024 at midnight, Paris time.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Send us your paintings by clicking on the button “Click here to enter” located at the bottom of this page. If you wish to enter several works of art (with a maximum of 3), each painting must be entered one at a time.

2. At the end of the competition, all the participants’ works will be displayed in a virtual gallery (from MAY 6^th).
3. All the readers of The Art Watercolour will be able to vote for their favourite works (until MAY 13^th).
4. The works of art with the most votes will be published in the following issue.

WHO CAN ENTER?
This competition is open to all readers of The Art of Watercolour aged 18 and over, no matter their country of residence. Only three entries per person are allowed.

WHAT MEDIUMS ARE ACCEPTED?
Works of art either entirely painted in watercolour or in mixed media, as long as watercolour is the dominant medium, can be entered.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
To participate in the first step of the selection process, each entrant must fill in the form available online and attach the documents listed below:
• A good quality portrait photo of yourself: around 10 x 15 cm (4 in. to 6 in.) with a resolution of 300 DPI. JPG format files only will be accepted).
• A good quality digital photo of the watercolour painting you have chosen to enter in the competition: around 10 x 15 cm (4 in. to 6 in.) size with a resolution of 300 DPI. JPG format files only will be accepted).
The maximum file size of your image must not exceed 10 MB. The better the quality of your image, the higher chances you have of being selected.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I'VE WON?
The candidates most voted for by our readers will be published in the JUNE 2024 magazine (issue 54).
The first winner will be the subject of an article published in the SEPTEMBER 2024 magazine (issue 55).
